Pittie Q BBQ

Pittie Q started competing in 2019 after Troy watched way too many episodes of BBQ Pitmasters. After getting a call at the very first competition, being the competitive people we are, we were hooked! Pittie Q started in the Backyard division and competed within there for four years. During those years, we collected a lot of hardware (2 Grand Championships, 2 Reserve Grand Championships, and 25 top 5 calls) and made a name for ourselves. So, what’s next you ask? Moving up to the Masters Series obviously!
And that’s what we did in 2023. With two additional meats we enlisted the help of our friends, Kelly and Adam. We figured it would take some time to really be able to compete in the big leagues, oh how wrong we were! After only SIX Master series competitions, Pittie Q was awarded Grand Champion at the KTD Smokin’ Gobbler! Along with that, we also placed 16th in Turkey at the American Royal and followed that up with a 180 in Turkey at Minnesota in May in 2024.
So, what else would a competition team do when they are not competing? Open a BBQ Restaurant of course! Jen and Troy partnered with PT Thomas and his wife Brooke to open Pittie Q BBQ inside the B-Dale Club in Roseville, MN in December 2023.
